Deck of the ship is a mobile space with unlimited potential. We invite formal and informal groups to organise business, sports, tourist, and private functions and events. Sailing charter includes the space, and also attention of the crew, meals, beverages, complex organisation of special events, and tourist cruises. 

STS Kapitan Borchardt accommodates for 32 guests in double, tripple or quadruple cabins of a higher standard, all of which are equipped with air conditioning and an en suite bathroom. A spacious deck, and mess room equipped with a projector allow for the organisation of conferences, workshops and receptions, that can accommodate to 100 people. 

Team Building

Team building is a process of creating a strong group capable of close cooperation and use of synergies. Team building is a set of organised activities that cause enrichment of relations in a group, building the group, integration and cooperation between its members, formation of trust and even friendship, getting to know each other beyond the everyday context. With strong ties and knowledge of their capabilities varied in many ways group is able to develop creative solutions that are not culturally biased or specific to only one age group. The flow of energy and experience creates a powerful force that properly guided can make a difference. To meet the needs of business, we offer an attractive way to mix integration with team building. We provide the deck of our ship as an excellent platform to translate theory of team building into practice. Life on a tall ship teaches taking proper and prompt action, acceptance and humility towards interdependence. A joint cruise is a perfect time and place to build awareness of the values of teamwork in theory and practice:

• theoretical training in team building (spacious mess room equipped with the tools necessary for comfortable learning during courses, seminars, and workshops)
• practical learning of efficient operating in a team (participation in the work on board requires joint actions, quick decisions, optimised allocation of tasks, and clear communication)

 A traditional tall ship is a perfect ground for effective team building. Working together on a tall ship teaches confidence and demonstrates that together you can do more.

Sail Training

Sail Training is a notion of sailing as a sport with great educational potential.  Sail training requires participants to confront many demanding challenges, both physical and emotional. It is an activity that inspires self-confidence and the acceptance of personal responsibility.  It promotes an acceptance of others whatever their social or cultural backgrounds are, and develops a willingness to take controlled risks. For most who undertake sail training on Tall Ships it is a positive life-changing experience. Sail training is an adventure activity for youth everywhere, with a record of considerable success in developing young men and women of character and ability for the challenges of life, proven scientifically. No previous sailing experience is required. Sail Training includes instruction in all aspects of sailing but its purpose goes far, far beyond this. Sail training uses the experience of being at sea principally as a means to help young people learn about themselves, discover hidden strengths and talents and understand the value of working as a diverse team, regardless of nationality, culture, religion, gender or social background.

Training cruises for sailors

Our qualified staff regularly organizes sailing training - both for beginners and advanced. First steps should be taken on board a sailing ship, which is stable, gives a greater sense of security and does not require taking over responsibility in the initial phase. Novices will be happy with training in basic navigation, international law of the sea route or sailing physics. Training in maritime safety, extended navigation or radiocommunication will interest experienced sailors who want to deepen their knowledge and gain valuable experience at sea.
