Dear All, my Name is Wolfgang Bischoff and I am working in the Hanse Sail association to Support traditional shipping within the Baltic sea.
I am responsible for the maritime sector of the Hanse Sail Rostock event. More or less I am the first contact partner for all ships by inviting, registering, contracting, berths, service, catering, information and to keep the data bank at actual level. Besides these tasks I am in touch with all participating ships. When Kapitan Borchardt appeared on the market, my first step was to interest the management of the ship to come to Rostock. In cooperation with some Polish friends we succeeded finally and could welcome the ship to Rostock.
The ship was offering a good service, training activities on board with a very polite crew. So the ship meanwhile is having a good Image and the past years were used to get a good Reputation.
I myself was on board the ship on occasion of Hanse Sail Rostock in 2014 and was welcomed together with my Sicilian friend by the captain and Ms. Anna Krawczyk.
After small talk we were invited to try the delicious Polish żurek. When we left the ship, we could remark the excellent Polish hospitality. We were much impressed about.
